"Lets Put On A Show!"

The attraction of a show with humor, song and dance is timeless.  From Gilbert and Sullivan through the golden era on Broadway right up until today's big hit, "High School Musical 2", kids and adults have enjoyed musical theatre.

Children are natural showman.  After all, they like to play 'dress up', they sing spontaneously and they definitely move with the music.  We just add a little instruction and direction and look out, the show is on.

Musical Theatre (Under construction)

Musical Theatre improves vocal performing skills and rhythmic awareness
to movement, while promoting proper diction and self-confidence.  It is also just a whole lotta fun.  We find that musical theatre is a good introductory course for the first time dance student.  The show number they work on will introduce them to many useful skills.  Don't be surprised if your young student starts showing relatives that they can do a jazz square and sing simultaneously.

Children, especially the preteen age group, can visualize themselves performing like the artists they see in music videos and popular shows.  With all the excitement caused by the wildly popular High School Musical (HSM) and HSM2, now is a great time to inquire if your child wants to try out their skills at musical theatre.  Once they get started, they may not want to quit.

If musical theatre sounds like it might be a match for your child or teen, see "Getting Started" for more details about enrolling or "Our Programs" for more details on the course offerings and a calendar of key dates.
