Dance is many things!

First and always, it is fun!

It is natural and universal.

It is a sport.

It is an entertainment.

It is an art form.

It is a life long hobby.

It is a challenging career.

It is healthy.

It is cultural.

It is what we do.

It is what we share.

Everyone can dance.

Our Programs

Our programs are set up on a two semester basis.  Classes beginning in the fall semester continue through the spring.  As needed, new classes are formed in the spring to accommodate growth.  Please note that enrollment in courses is closed after four weeks of instruction as we have found it to be unfair to the class and the would-be-new-student to try and accommodate the late enrolling student.

Our list of courses is not fixed.  It varies to accommodate our enrolled students.  We are happy to create new classes when a group of similar students wish to enroll together to pursue common interest.  An example of this is our Family Tap Class, suggested by one of our parents as a way to interest her sons in tap instruction.  We had not done such a class before; but, we are now happy to include it in our offerings.

To better utilize our space and meet community needs, studio space is made available to select dance and exercise programs.  To see who else you might meet at Amy's Studio, click here.
